The 1746-0V1 6 is a discrete output module built by Allen Bradley. The module is equipped with sixteen (16) output channels in -(1) channel groups. It is an absorbing output module that provides a 10-50VDC output voltage range with a minimum output of 24VDC. The module is ideal for powering electrical loads operated by DC, such as relay coils, indicating and sounding devices.

The backplane current consumption of the 1746-0V16 at 5v DC voltage is 0.270 amp, the turn-off state leakage current is 1 mA, and the minimum load current is also 1 mA. The signal delay for each channel of the output module is 0.1 ms(from on to off) and 1.0 ms(from off to on). The continuous output current per point of the module is 0.50 A at 30°C(86″F) and 0.25 A at 60°C(140°F), while the continuous output current per module is 8.0 A at 30°C(86°F) and 4.0 A at 60°C(140°F). The module has a maximum on-voltage drop of 1.2V at 0.5A 1746-0V1 6 and a surge current of 3.0A per point for 10 ms, repeated – times every 1 second at 30°C(86°F) and 2 seconds at 60°C(140°F).

The 1746-0V16 is installed in the SLC 500 chassis. It is a single slot width module that connects directly to the modular style SLC 500 hardware. It comes with a detachable junction box pre-installed on the module. The terminal board can be removed from the module for simpler and faster wiring activities.

This is a 16 channel output module compatible with SLC 500 systems. The heat dissipation at each point is 0.388 watts, for a total heat dissipation of 7.6 watts. The 1746-0V16 comes with a removable patch panel that allows you to easily connect or modify the wiring on the module. It operates in a voltage range of 10-50 volts DC.
