GE Fanuc / VMIC VMIVME-6005 Octal ARINC-429智能通信控制器是一款完全集成的通信控制器，提供VMEbus访问8个ARINC-429高速串行接口。每个arinc429接口都是缓冲的:最多255个32位字可以排队等待传输，每个接收端都有多个255个字符的缓冲区。arinc429 SDI/Label排序可用于8个接收通道，每个通道有1024个字符箱。68000 I/O处理器从VMEbus上卸载了为ARINC收发器提供服务和管理字符缓冲区的任务。I/O处理器通过共享缓冲区和标志与VME主机通信。

VMIVME-6005具有A32/A24 VME从接口，能够进行D32、D16和D8(EO)基本数据传输。该板可以被跳线配置为响应监管、非特权或监管和非特权VME数据传输。VMIVME-6005的VMEbus基址配置了拨码开关，占用单个64kbyte的内存块。

VMIVME-6005的前面板具有6个屏蔽DB-9连接器，用于连接8个arinc429发射通道和16个arinc429接收通道。前面板上还包括一个板复位开关和一个健康/状态LED指示灯。发射线驱动电源来源于VMEbus + 5v。

GE Fanuc/VMIC VMIVME-6005 Octal ARINC-429 Intelligent Communication Controller is a fully integrated communication controller that provides VMEbus access to eight ARINC-429 high-speed serial interfaces. Each arinc429 interface is buffered: up to 255 32-bit words can be queued for transmission, and each receiver has multiple buffers of 255 characters. The arinc429 SDI/Label sort is available for 8 receive channels, each with 1024 character boxes. The 68000 I/O processor offloads the task of servicing the ARINC transceiver and managing character buffers from the VMEbus. The I/O processor communicates with the VME host through shared buffers and flags.

The VMIVME-6005 has an A32/A24 VME slave interface and is capable of D32, D16 and D8(EO) basic data transmission. The board can be configured by a jumper to respond to regulated, unprivileged, or regulated and unprivileged VME data transfers. The VMIVMEBUS base address of the VMIVME-6005 is configured with a DIP switch, which occupies a single 64kbyte memory block.

The front panel of the VMIVME-6005 features six shielded DB-9 connectors for connecting eight arinc429 transmit channels and 16 arinc429 receive channels. The front panel also includes a board reset switch and a health/status LED indicator. The transmitting line drive power supply comes from VMEbus + 5v.
