The NI PCI-6527 is a 48-bit parallel isolated digital I/O interface module. It has 24 digital inputs and 24 digital switch outputs and is completely jumper free. With the NI PCI-6527, you can sense digital levels up to 28 VDC and switching currents up to 120 mA.

PCI-6527 is an industrial parallel digital interface. In the programmable power-on state, the software configures the initial output state to ensure safe operation when connected to industrial actuators.
In the event of a computer or application failure, the PCI-6528 can switch to a configurable security output state using a digital I0 watchdog to ensure that the failure state is detected and safely recovered. A programmable input filter eliminates burr spikes and provides defibrillators for digital switches/relays via a software-selectable digital filter.
