Single channel, color, or monochrome frame receiver device – The PCI-1405 is a PCI monochrome and color image acquisition device that supports a wide range of analog cameras offered by many camera companies. The NI 1405 captures images in real time and stores them in the on-board frame memory or transfers them directly to the system memory. The PCI-1405 supports the NTSC and PAL color standards as well as the RS-170 and CCIR monochrome standards. The PCI-1405 also provides an external input/output (I/O) line that you can use as a trigger or digital I/O line.

Unlike multimedia “fame grabbers,” the PCI-1405 / IMAQ PCI-1405 features increased image processing throughput, such as partial image acquisition with programmable region of interest.
